No founder builds alone. We will map the people currently surrounding your work and life, identify the support you need next, and design small, practical experiments that help you move from reflection into action.

Why this one

No founder builds alone. But the people around us do more than support us; they shape what we believe is possible, how we make decisions, and sometimes even what we believe we should want.

In Building Your Founder Circle, we’ll take a closer look at the people influencing your work and your life.

We’ll begin with your inner circle: the three to five people whose reactions matter most when you are considering a big decision. Whose voice gets loudest in your head? Who do you instinctively call? Who challenges you? Who steadies you? And perhaps most importantly, whose judgment do you actually trust?

From there, we’ll map your wider Founder Circle, looking beyond closeness to consider the different roles people play in helping you build. Who expands your thinking? Who tells you the truth? Who opens doors? Who understands the emotional reality of entrepreneurship? Who can offer expertise you do not have? Who reminds you who you are when everything feels uncertain?

As we map the circle, we’ll also look for what is missing. Sometimes the problem isn’t that we need more support; it’s that we need a different kind of support for the chapter we are entering.

And we’ll consider reciprocity. The strongest communities are not simply networks we draw from. They are relationships we invest in. We’ll ask not only, “Who do I need around me?” but also, “What kind of person do I want to be in someone else’s circle?”

You’ll leave with a visual map of your Founder Circle, greater clarity about the voices shaping your decisions, and one intentional step you can take to strengthen, expand, or activate the community around you.

Because building with purpose also means being purposeful about who you build alongside.
